In-Pavement Detection Options

Reno A&E offers a full line of amplifiers for in-pavement vehicle detection, including TS-1 shelf and TS-2 rack mounted models, in single-channel, dual-channel and quad-channel configurations.  Menu-driven and dip-switch options are available on all configurations. Detectors are available with True Count technology for counting vehicles over long loops.  If customers can’t find it, it doesn’t exist. 

 The Model C-1101-B and C-1201-B bicycle detectors are designed to detect ALL vehicles with the added ability of differentiating bicycles from motorized vehicles, including motorcycles. Separating bicycles from motorized vehicles allows programming independent initial and extension times for bicycles. This allows the traffic engineer to detect and provide safe passage time for bicycles without compromising the intersection's efficiency.  

The Model PLB Preformed Loop is a prefabricated loop lead-in assembly designed to be installed in a 1/4” (0.64 cm) saw cut. The PLB is designed to maximize durability, minimize water penetration, and maintain a flexible form that is easy to install and handle. Wire insulation and cable jackets are constructed with the optimal thickness of Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE) necessary to ensure a long, trouble free life. XLPE insulation provides excellent thermal, electrical, and physical properties and is recognized for its outstanding resistance to moisture and chemicals.
